Puotinkylän Valtti/Itä United

Puotinkylän Valtti/Itä United was one of 12 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Puotinkylän Valtti/Itä United, 61 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Puotinkylän Valtti/Itä United could be found in Group 10 together with TV Oyten, IFK Aspudden-Tellus and Älvsborg FF. Puotinkylän Valtti/Itä United continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Ösmo GIF FK with 4-7. In the Final, Enskede IK won over Alemannia Aachen and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. Puotinkylän Valtti/Itä United comes from Helsinki which lies approximately 790 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Helsinki does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Puotinkylän Valtti, Special Olympics Finland and VJS Vantaa).
