Gorge

Gorge was one of 6 clubs from Canada that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Gorge, 215 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 53 different groups, whereof Gorge could be found in Group 53 together with Mindset FC, Fagersta Södra IK and Kungsbacka IF. Gorge continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 53. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Footgeneration FA Algarve with 0-2. In the Final, Match Fit Academy won over Footgeneration FA Algarve and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Gorge comes from Victoria which lies approximately 7500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
