GAIS

In addition to GAIS, 179 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof GAIS could be found in Group 4 together with FC Neumünster Zürich, Roanoke Star and IFK Falköping FF 2. GAIS continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against V. Frölunda IF with 0-4. In the Final, Cap Jeune 31 won over V. Frölunda IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. GAIS also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in B15 Play off A, but lost it against SC Nienstedten with 5-6.
