VfL Westercelle

In addition to VfL Westercelle, 179 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof VfL Westercelle could be found in Group 29 together with Tynecastle Football Club, Sel RED, Kvarnsvedens IK and Gunnared KIF. VfL Westercelle continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 29. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against GAIS with 0-1. In the Final, Cap Jeune 31 won over V. Frölunda IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. VfL Westercelle also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in B15 Play off A, but lost it against J-L Juniors with 0-4.
