Rössö, IK

Rössö, IK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Rössö, IK, 61 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Rössö, IK could be found in Group 6 together with Ale United, Hemet Juventus SC and Järla IF. Rössö, IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Göteborgs DFF with 0-5. In the Final, Lyn Fotball won over Eskilsminne IF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. Rössö, comes from Uddevalla which lies approximately 66 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Uddevalla does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: IK Oddevold, Orust Fotboll, Vänersborgs FK, Vänersborgs IF, Skoftebyns IF, Vallens IF, Halvorstorps IS, Stenungsunds IF, Kungshamns IF and IFK Uddevalla).
