Mantorps FF

Mantorps FF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Mantorps FF, 179 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Mantorps FF could be found in Group 11 together with CCL Soccer Club, Bordeaux Elite FC and IK Zenith. Mantorps FF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Sils IF with 1-5. In the Final, Phoenix Football Academy won over IK Zenith and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Mantorps comes from Mantorp which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Mantorp does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: BK Derby, Mjölby Södra IF, Tallboda IF, Åtvidabergs FF, Stångebro United, Borens IK, Mjölby AI/FF, Mjölby FC, Malmslätts AIK and Linköpings FC).
