NK Bubamara

NK Bubamara was one of two clubs from Croatia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to NK Bubamara, 203 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 50 different groups, whereof NK Bubamara could be found in Group 36 together with Lillestrøm SK 2, Fjolnir and Skultorps IF. NK Bubamara continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 36. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against CO Vincennes with 0-1. In the Final, AC Ajaccio won over CO Vincennes and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. NK Bubamara comes from ZAGREB which lies approximately 1400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than NK Bubamara, the club Special Olympics Croatia does also originate from the area around ZAGREB.
