AFC Chigasaki

AFC Chigasaki was one of four clubs from Japan that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to AFC Chigasaki, 203 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 50 different groups, whereof AFC Chigasaki could be found in Group 21 together with A.S. México, Nittedal IL, Bälinge IF and Ytterby IS. AFC Chigasaki continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Walddörfer SV 2 with 0-2. In the Final, Gerdskens BK won over Eskilstuna City FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. AFC Chigasaki comes from Chigasaki which lies approximately 8600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
