Eriksbergs IF

Eriksbergs IF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Eriksbergs IF, 215 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 53 different groups, whereof Eriksbergs IF could be found in Group 37 together with SG Findorff, Skiljebo SK and FH 2. Eriksbergs IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 37. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Anderslövs BoIK with 0-1. In the Final, Match Fit Academy won over Footgeneration FA Algarve and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Eriksbergs originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 64 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Guldhedens IK, Backatorp IF, Hovås-Billdal IF, Kållered SK, Hjuviks AIK, Mölndal Fotboll, IK Kongahälla, Lunden ÖBK, Särö IK and Sävedalens IF).
