Orust Fotboll

Orust Fotboll was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Orust Fotboll, 179 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Orust Fotboll could be found in Group 21 together with Torns IF, Monte Libano and St. Paul Blackhawks 1. Orust Fotboll continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Nordhordland BK with 0-5. In the Final, Cap Jeune 31 won over V. Frölunda IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Orust comes from Orust which lies approximately 47 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Orust does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: IK Oddevold, IK Kongahälla, Rössö, IK, Ytterby IS, Kareby IS, Ale United, Vallens IF, Romelanda UF, Stenungsunds IF and Kungshamns IF).
