Mjölby FC

Mjölby FC was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Mjölby FC, 118 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Mjölby FC could be found in Group 12 together with Lillehammer KFK 1, Dingtuna GIF and BK Astrio. Mjölby FC continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against TGK Worcestershire with 1-3. In the Final, TGK Worcestershire won over Gideonsbergs IF Vit and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Mjölby FC comes from Mjölby which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Mjölby does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (BK Derby, Mjölby Södra IF, Tallboda IF, Mantorps FF, Stångebro United, Borens IK, Tranås FF, Mjölby AI/FF, Malmslätts AIK and Linköpings FC).
