Linghems/Tallboda

Linghems/Tallboda was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Linghems/Tallboda, 61 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Linghems/Tallboda could be found in Group 11 together with Lillestrøm SK, Assi IF and Hovås-Billdal IF. Linghems/Tallboda continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Eskilsminne IF with 0-2. In the Final, Lyn Fotball won over Eskilsminne IF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. Linghems/Tallboda comes from Linghem which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Linghem does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: BK Derby, Smedby AIS, Lindö FF Norrköping, Tallboda IF, Mantorps FF, Åtvidabergs FF, Stångebro United, IFK Norrköping, Svärtinge SK and Malmslätts AIK).
