Lunds SK

Lunds SK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Lunds SK, 137 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Lunds SK could be found in Group 5 together with Currie Star FC, V. Frölunda IF and Ligi Ndogo SC. Lunds SK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IF Warta with 2-4. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over A.S. México and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Lunds SK comes from Lund which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Lund does also provide 37 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Södra Sandby IF, BK Flagg, Trollenäs IF, IF Lödde, Furulunds IK, Torna Hällestad IF, Ödåkra IF, IFK Klagshamn, FC Bellevue and BK Höllviken).
