Iggesunds IK

Iggesunds IK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Iggesunds IK, 98 other teams from 6 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Iggesunds IK could be found in Group 20 together with Älvsjö AIK FF Vit, Alvesta GIF and Lillestrøm SK. Iggesunds IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against EBU Bay Oaks Gold with 0-6. In the Final, AIK FF won over Hammarby IF FF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. Iggesunds comes from Iggesund which lies approximately 520 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Iggesund does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (IF Team Hudik and Näsvikens IK).
