Triangelns IK

Triangelns IK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Triangelns IK, 98 other teams from 6 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Triangelns IK could be found in Group 9 together with Lillehammer KFK 1, Ale United, Munksund/Skuthamn SK and SF Sol FC. Triangelns IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Marin FC 1 with 0-1. In the Final, AIK FF won over Hammarby IF FF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. Triangelns comes from Eskilstuna which lies approximately 320 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Eskilstuna does also provide 17 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Västerås IK, Skiljebo SK, Eskilstuna City FK, Dingtuna GIF, Västerås SK Ungdom, Västerås BK 30, Västerås SK, Västerås BK30, Irsta IF and Arboga Södra IF).
