Boo IS

Boo IS was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 12. In addition to Boo IS, 46 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 12. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Boo IS could be found in Group 9 together with IF Väster 1, Toronto High Park FC Red and Boroughmuir Thistle Football Club 2. Boo IS made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 9. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against IF Brommapojkarna, which they won with 9-1. Thereby Boo IS won the entire Play off A in Girls 12 during Gothia Cup 2017. Boo IS also participated in Girls 12 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the Semi final in G12 Play off A, but lost it against Saltsjö-Boo IF with 1-3. Boo IS comes from Nacka which lies approximately 410 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nacka does also provide 56 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Hanvikens SK, Enskede IK, Hammarby IF FF, Bollstanäs SK, Danderyds SK, Älta IF, Enebybergs IF, Ekerö IK, Huddinge IF and Ingarö IF).
