In addition to Askims IK, 45 other teams from 6 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Askims IK could be found in Group 4 together with Ploërmel FC, Upsala IF and IF Brommapojkarna. Askims IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against AIK FF F04A with 0-3. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over Marin FC 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 13. Askims IK also participated in Girls 12 during Gothia Cup 2016. They won Play off B, after beating Åsa IF in the final with 1-0.
