V. Frölunda IF

In addition to V. Frölunda IF, 173 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof V. Frölunda IF could be found in Group 6 together with ACBB Paris 1, Kubikenborgs IF Gul and LAZ Stockerau 1. V. Frölunda IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Inter Monterrey with 1-3. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over SC Nienstedten and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. V. Frölunda IF also participated in Boys 11 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in B11 Play off A, but lost it against JSSL Arsenal Singapore 1 with 2-4.
