Torslanda IK 2

Torslanda IK 2 was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Torslanda IK 2, 173 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof Torslanda IK 2 could be found in Group 2 together with Lizzy Football Club, LA Galaxy Conejo and Boo FF. Torslanda IK 2 continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Thai Spirit FC with 0-3. In the Final, Footgeneration FA Algarve won over IF Elfsborg and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Torslanda 2 comes from Torslanda which lies approximately 12 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Torslanda does also provide 63 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Guldhedens IK, Backatorp IF, Hovås-Billdal IF, Kållered SK, Hjuviks AIK, Mölndal Fotboll, IK Kongahälla, Lunden ÖBK, Särö IK and Sävedalens IF).
