Sandarna BK

Sandarna BK was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Sandarna BK, 224 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Sandarna BK could be found in Group 51 together with Ekerö IK, Oden, IK and Weiche e.V., ETSV. Sandarna BK made it to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 51. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Stångebro United with 0-3. Thereby Sandarna BK finished second in B15 Play off B during Gothia Cup 2016. Sandarna BK also participated in Boys 14 during Gothia Cup 2015. They reached the 1/16 Final in B14 Play off B, but lost it against Aalborg Chang with 1-3. Sandarna originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 77 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: FT14, Lindome GIF, Jitex Mölndal BK, Hisingsbacka FC, Älvängens IK, Mossens BK, Dalen/KFF, Örgryte IS, Näsets SK and Åsa IF).
