Kauai Brasil

Kauai Brasil was one of 13 clubs from Brazil that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Kauai Brasil, 186 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Kauai Brasil could be found in Group 13 together with GAIS, Kubikenborgs IF and MTV Treubund Lüneburg. Kauai Brasil continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against AS Itrane with 2-4. In the Final, Cayyolu FC won over Hong Kong FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Kauai Brasil comes from São Paulo which lies approximately 11000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around São Paulo does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Space/Ordin, Colegio Saint Clair, BRFC, Pequeninos do Jockey, Pinheiros, E.C., TDT Brasil, Euro Sports Brasil, ASCD Triunfo, DS Sports and Osasco FC).
