Infulene D was the only club from Mozambique that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Infulene D, 80 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Infulene D could be found in Group 10 together with IFK Lidingö FK, Herrestads AIF and Linköping Kenty DFF Cerise. Infulene D continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Rynninge/Hovsta with 5-6. In the Final, Tromsø IL won over Norrstrands IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16.
