Team Viborg

Team Viborg was one of 13 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17). In addition to Team Viborg, 15 other teams from 6 different countries played in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Team Viborg could be found in Group 3 together with AIK FF, Piteå IF and SC 13 Bad Neuenahr. Team Viborg continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Stabæk Fotball with 1-3. In the Final, QBIK won over Eskilstuna United DFF and became the winner of Play off A in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17). Team Viborg comes from Munkgårdkvarteret 114 which lies approximately 260 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Team Viborg, the club Måbjerg IF does also originate from the area around Munkgårdkvarteret 114.
