F-17 Academy was one of 7 clubs from Singapore that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to F-17 Academy, 114 other teams from 36 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof F-17 Academy could be found in Group 10 together with Lizzy Football Club, KF Velebit 1 and Markham School. F-17 Academy continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against SC Nienstedten with 1-8. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over KFV Segeberg 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 11. F-17 Academy also participated in Boys 11 during Gothia Cup 2015. They reached the 1/16 Final in B11 Play off A, but lost it against IFK Stocksund vit with 0-6. F-17 Academy comes from Singapore which lies approximately 10000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Singapore does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (JSSL Arsenal Singapore, ANZA Soccer, L's Football Academy, Shoot Football Academy, Euro Soccer Academy and International SA).
