Cantolao, AD

Cantolao, AD was one of three clubs from Peru that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Cantolao, AD, 114 other teams from 36 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Cantolao, AD could be found in Group 1 together with Euro Soccer Academy 1, Segeltorps IF and IFK Göteborg 1. Cantolao, AD continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Hammarby IF FF with 1-6. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over KFV Segeberg 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 11. Cantolao, AD also participated in Boys 11 during Gothia Cup 2015. They reached the 1/16 Final in B11 Play off A, but lost it against KFV Segeberg 1 with 3-5. Cantolao, AD comes from callao peru which lies approximately 11000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around callao peru does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Markham School and Escuela Nederland).
