Daro FC

Daro FC was one of three clubs from Malaysia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Daro FC, 74 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Daro FC could be found in Group 5 together with IFK Kalmar, IFK Timrå and Assyriska FF. Daro FC continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against V. Frölunda IF with 1-2. In the Final, AIK FF won over The Calgary Foothills Soccer Club and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. The area around does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (KL Youth Soccer and Tunku Ampuan Durah).
