SKF Latvija

SKF Latvija was one of four clubs from Latvia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to SKF Latvija, 231 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof SKF Latvija could be found in Group 33 together with Funbo IF, Lørenskog IF and GAIS. SKF Latvija continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 33. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IFK Göteborg with 1-2. In the Final, Senlis, U.S.M. won over Jordan Knights FA and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. SKF Latvija comes from Rīga which lies approximately 730 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Rīga does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (JDFS Alberts and Skonto FC).
