IFK Norrköping

IFK Norrköping was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17). In addition to IFK Norrköping, 35 other teams from 13 different countries played in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IFK Norrköping could be found in Group 4 together with Helsingborgs IF, NK KRŠKO and CCL Soccer Club. IFK Norrköping continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Hammarby IF FF with 0-2. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over Kalmar FF and became the winner of Play off B in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17). IFK Norrköping comes from Norrköping which lies approximately 260 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Norrköping does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Svärtinge SK, Lindö FF Norrköping, Tallboda IF, Tallboda IF/Vikingstad, Linköping Kenty DFF, BK Tinnis, IFK Norrköping DFK, AFK Linköping and Smedby AIS).
