SK Haugar

SK Haugar was one of 42 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to SK Haugar, 115 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof SK Haugar could be found in Group 16 together with Bälinge IF, Eskilsminne IF and Alviks IK. SK Haugar made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 16. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against ASD Femminile Inter Milano with 0-1. Thereby SK Haugar finished second in G15 Play off A during Gothia Cup 2016. SK Haugar comes from Haugesund which lies approximately 430 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Haugesund does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (SK Djerv 1919 and Skjoldar IL).
