Gasteizko Neskak Groseko

Gasteizko Neskak Groseko was one of 13 clubs from Spain that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 12. In addition to Gasteizko Neskak Groseko, 36 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 12. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Gasteizko Neskak Groseko could be found in Group 1 together with AIK FF, Älvsborg FF, Dalian Bayi Hope Primary School and IFK Göteborg. Gasteizko Neskak Groseko continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Utbynäs SK with 1-4. In the Final, Askims IK won over Åsa IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 12. Gasteizko Neskak Groseko comes from VITORIA-GASTEIZ which lies approximately 1900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around VITORIA-GASTEIZ does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Gasteizko Neskak and Gasteiz Futbol).
