FC Spartak Novosibirsk

FC Spartak Novosibirsk was one of two clubs from Russia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to FC Spartak Novosibirsk, 114 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof FC Spartak Novosibirsk could be found in Group 28 together with FC Boo 2, JSC Pitray-Olier Paris 1 and Kungsbacka IF 2. FC Spartak Novosibirsk continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 28. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Hammarby IF FF with 0-10. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over KFV Segeberg 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 11. FC Spartak Novosibirsk comes from Novosibirsk which lies approximately 4200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
