Centern, IF

Centern, IF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Centern, IF, 80 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Centern, IF could be found in Group 20 together with IFK Nyköping/Hargs BK, Sunderby SK and Limay Ville. Centern, IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Eastside FC with 1-2. In the Final, Holmalunds IF won over Scandia United SA and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Centern, IF also participated in Girls 15 during Gothia Cup 2015. They reached the 1/8 Final in G15 Play off A, but lost it against Boo FF with 0-1. Centern, comes from Halmstad which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Halmstad does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Skrea IF, IS Halmia, BK Astrio, Hasslöv/Skottorp, IF Böljan and Torup/Rydö FF).
