ÖT Smygehuk FF

ÖT Smygehuk FF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to ÖT Smygehuk FF, 47 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof ÖT Smygehuk FF could be found in Group 9 together with ATSV Scharmbeckstotel, Team Odense Q and Sickla IF. ÖT Smygehuk FF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against PU-62 / JyPK yj with 0-6. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over Huddinge IF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 13. ÖT Smygehuk comes from Smygehamn which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Smygehamn does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: BK Höllviken, Staffanstorps GIF, LB07, Ystads IF FF, FC Staffanstorp, Lilla Torg FF, IFK Klagshamn, Skanör-Falsterbo IF, Malmö City FC and IFK Trelleborg).
