Colegio Once Mexico

Colegio Once Mexico was one of 9 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Colegio Once Mexico, 137 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Colegio Once Mexico could be found in Group 30 together with JSC Pitray-Olier Paris 2, Süderneulander SV and Masthuggets BK. Colegio Once Mexico continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 30. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against CA Intercups Mexico with 1-3. In the Final, CA Intercups Mexico won over Topskor Indonesia and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Colegio Once Mexico comes from GUADALAJARA which lies approximately 9500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Colegio Once Mexico, the club Cumbres San Javier does also originate from the area around GUADALAJARA.
