Las Rozas CF

Las Rozas CF was one of 13 clubs from Spain that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Las Rozas CF, 137 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Las Rozas CF could be found in Group 18 together with Prep School Lions 3, Azalea BK and FC Tricolore. Las Rozas CF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against PR-Academy with 2-3. In the Final, CA Intercups Mexico won over Topskor Indonesia and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Las Rozas CF also participated in Boys 12 during Gothia Cup 2015. They reached the 1/8 Final in B12 Play off A, but lost it against Oppsal IF 1 with 1-2. Las Rozas CF comes from MADRID which lies approximately 2200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around MADRID does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (ED Moratalaz and C.D. Magerit).
