Skjetten SK

Skjetten SK was one of 42 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Skjetten SK, 231 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof Skjetten SK could be found in Group 44 together with Tranemo IF, Karlslunds IF HFK 1 and TSV Buchholz 08. Skjetten SK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 44. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against ASIFA GNFA with 0-2. In the Final, Senlis, U.S.M. won over Jordan Knights FA and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Skjetten SK comes from Skjetten which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skjetten does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: Lørenskog IF, Follo FK, Nordstrand IF, Oppsal IF, Lillestrøm SK, Rælingen FK, Bærum SK, Fornebu FK, FK Fjellhamar and Lyn Fotball).
