SG Findorff

SG Findorff was one of 65 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to SG Findorff, 186 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof SG Findorff could be found in Group 32 together with Kisa BK, Rising Sun Soccer Academy and Hyllie IK. SG Findorff continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 32. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Smedby AIS with 2-3. In the Final, Las Vegas Sports Academy won over ED Moratalaz and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. SG Findorff also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2015. They reached the 1/16 Final in B15 Play off B, but lost it against Bromstens IK with 0-1. SG Findorff comes from Bremen which lies approximately 550 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bremen does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (FSV Langwedel-Völkersen, ATSV Scharmbeckstotel, TuS Komet Arsten, SC Borgfeld eV, Lilienthal-Falkenberg, SV, VSK Osterholz-Scharmbeck, TSV Lesumstotel, FC Gessel-Leerssen, TSV Bassum eV and TSV Uesen).
