Ängelholms FF

Ängelholms FF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Ängelholms FF, 115 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Ängelholms FF could be found in Group 7 together with Walddörfer SV, Assyriska FF and Skövde KIK. Ängelholms FF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Santa Monica United with 0-4. In the Final, Santa Monica United won over KFV Segeberg and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Ängelholms FF also participated in Girls 14 during Gothia Cup 2015. They reached the 1/32 Final in G14 Play off A, but lost it against Onsala BK with 0-3. Ängelholms comes from Ängelholm which lies approximately 170 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ängelholm does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: Kornhult / Hishult FF, Vejby IF, Råå IF, Fortuna FF, Hittarps IK, Munka-Ljungby IF, Eskilsminne IF, Glumslövs FF, Helsingborgs IF and Förslövs IF).
