TSV Lesumstotel

TSV Lesumstotel was one of 65 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to TSV Lesumstotel, 80 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof TSV Lesumstotel could be found in Group 17 together with Salem DFF, Södra Sandby IF and Team Hudik/Näsviken. TSV Lesumstotel continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Swindon Town FITC with 6-8. In the Final, Holmalunds IF won over Scandia United SA and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Lesumstotel comes from Ritterhude which lies approximately 540 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ritterhude does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (SG Findorff, ATSV Scharmbeckstotel, TuS Komet Arsten, SC Borgfeld eV, Lilienthal-Falkenberg, SV, TSV Abbehausen, VSK Osterholz-Scharmbeck, FC Gessel-Leerssen and TSV Uesen).
