Fortuna FF/Hittarps IK

Fortuna FF/Hittarps IK was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Fortuna FF/Hittarps IK, 48 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Fortuna FF/Hittarps IK could be found in Group 6 together with FJSG Bederkesa, Lindome GIF and Typhoon FC. Fortuna FF/Hittarps IK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against LB07 with 0-4. In the Final, LB07 won over IK Zenith and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. Fortuna FF/Hittarps comes from Helsingborg which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Helsingborg does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: Ballerup-Skovlunde Fodbold, Vejby IF, Furulunds IK, Råå IF, Fortuna FF, IF Lödde, Trollenäs IF, Hittarps IK, Borgeby FK and Munka-Ljungby IF).
