PU-62 / JyPK yj

PU-62 / JyPK yj was one of 12 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to PU-62 / JyPK yj, 47 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof PU-62 / JyPK yj could be found in Group 10 together with FH 2, BK Häcken and Hammarby IF DFF Rep. PU-62 / JyPK yj continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Global Premier SC with 13-14. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over Huddinge IF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 13. PU-62 / JyPK yj comes from Jyväskylä which lies approximately 910 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Jyväskylä does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (JyPK 03 United, Vantaan Jalkapalloseura, Palokan Riento and FC Kuusysi).
