Folkabo IK/IFK Tidahom

Folkabo IK/IFK Tidahom was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Folkabo IK/IFK Tidahom, 80 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Folkabo IK/IFK Tidahom could be found in Group 13 together with Alsike IF, Abu Dhabi Youth FC and Oppsal IF. Folkabo IK/IFK Tidahom continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Hammarby IF DFF with 0-7. In the Final, Holmalunds IF won over Scandia United SA and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Folkabo IK/IFK Tidahom comes from Tidaholm which lies approximately 120 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tidaholm does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: Tidaholms GIF, Skultorps IF/Våmbs IF, Skultorps IF, Skövde KIK, IFK Falköping FF, IFK Skövde, Floby IF, IFK Skövde FK, Hörnebo SK and Våmbs IF).
