Rhos United Juniors

Rhos United Juniors was one of two clubs from Wales that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Rhos United Juniors, 98 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Rhos United Juniors could be found in Group 24 together with FK Cementarnica 55, SK Sprint-Jeløy 2 and Jönköpings Södra IF. Rhos United Juniors continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Lørenskog IF with 1-3. In the Final, BK Häcken won over JFV Hanse Lübeck and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Rhos United Juniors comes from Rhos-on-Sea which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
