Järla IF

Järla IF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Järla IF, 186 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Järla IF could be found in Group 25 together with KL Youth Soccer, IBV and TSV Uesen. Järla IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against VfL Westercelle with 1-2. In the Final, Las Vegas Sports Academy won over ED Moratalaz and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Järla IF also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2015. They reached the 1/64 Final in B15 Play off B, but lost it against IFK Kumla with 3-4. Järla comes from Nacka which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nacka does also provide 64 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: IFK Lidingö FK, Boo FF, Boo IS, Bollstanäs SK, Hammarby IF DFF, Saltsjö-Boo IF, Enskede IK, Årsta FF, Rönninge Salem Fotboll and IF Brommapojkarna).
