ÖV United

ÖV United was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to ÖV United, 115 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof ÖV United could be found in Group 27 together with Morön BK, Lindome GIF and Greve Fodbold. ÖV United continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 27. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IK Viljan with 0-3. In the Final, Santa Monica United won over KFV Segeberg and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. ÖV United comes from Linköping which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Linköping does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: Stångebro United, Åtvidabergs FF, Mjölby Södra IF, Tallboda IF, Tallboda IF/Vikingstad, Mjölby AI/FF, Linköping Kenty DFF, BK Ljungsbro, BK Derby and BK Tinnis).
