Strikers North

Strikers North was one of 43 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Strikers North, 98 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Strikers North could be found in Group 10 together with FC Neumünster Zürich, Hällbybrunns IF and ENTENTE OSTEN LUXEMBOURG. Strikers North continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Os TF with 0-3. In the Final, BK Häcken won over JFV Hanse Lübeck and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Strikers North comes from California which lies approximately 8600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
