Segeltorps IF

Segeltorps IF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Segeltorps IF, 114 other teams from 36 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Segeltorps IF could be found in Group 1 together with Euro Soccer Academy 1, IFK Göteborg 1 and Cantolao, AD. Segeltorps IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against BSB Bourgeons Sportifs de Batna 1 with 3-6. In the Final, Jordan Knights FA won over IF Brommapojkarna and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 11. Segeltorps comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 67 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: IFK Lidingö FK, Boo FF, Boo IS, Bollstanäs SK, Hammarby IF DFF, Saltsjö-Boo IF, Enskede IK, Årsta FF, Rönninge Salem Fotboll and IF Brommapojkarna).
