Järvenpään Palloseura was one of 12 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Järvenpään Palloseura, 74 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Järvenpään Palloseura could be found in Group 16 together with Solängens BK, IFK Lidingö FK and Västanfors IF. Järvenpään Palloseura made it to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 16. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Swindon Town FITC with 0-2.
