ISTEP

ISTEP was one of 43 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to ISTEP, 224 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof ISTEP could be found in Group 25 together with ENTENTE OSTEN LUXEMBOURG, Töff/IK Rex and IK Zenith. ISTEP continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against FC Djursholm 1 with 0-4. In the Final, ASIOP Apacinti won over IF Elfsborg and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. ISTEP comes from Port Washington which lies approximately 6000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than ISTEP, the club FC Connecticut does also originate from the area around Port Washington.
