FK Varg

FK Varg was one of 42 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to FK Varg, 231 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof FK Varg could be found in Group 40 together with Hyllie IK Grön, Vake-WIT 1 and Växjö Norra IF. FK Varg continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 40. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Accademia I.C. with 0-1. In the Final, Senlis, U.S.M. won over Jordan Knights FA and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. FK Varg comes from Sortland which lies approximately 1200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
